We Check For

Improper and Loose Connections

Nails should never be used to secure railings or balconies. The use of nails can lead to a falling hazard for not only your residents but your employees as well.
Corrosion

Metal connectors and fasteners can corrode over time causing serious issues with your fall protection. Our inspections will make you aware of any corrosion issues and help you begin a course of action to fix the issue.

Cracks

Large cracks or excessive cracking will begin to weaken deck framing members. It could lead to a catastrophic failure of the balcony.

Rot

Checking for moisture is crucial. Any wood that is showing signs of decay needs to be replaced as soon as possible. Aderhold has the ability to not only inspect, but we can also correct any and all issues with your balconies, railings, and stairwells.

Railings

Check all railing connections. A qualified inspector can make sure railings are connected properly and meet or exceed size and strength requirements set forth by OSHA and the state of Florida.
